Welcome to the Riebeek Valley Directory of Information for Visitors, incorporating the towns and areas of Riebeek West, Riebeek Kasteel, Riebeeksrivier and Hermon. Plan to visit our Olive Festival in May or the Shiraz and Art Weekend in September - celebrating the wine, olives, food and culture of the area. Riebeek Valley Mountain Bike Race

Come and enjoy the natural beauty of the Riebeek Valley – on your mountain bike. The 35 km route will take you through vineyards, olive groves and up against the slopes of the Kasteelberg. And for the not-so-adventurous; take the 15 km route. Come and enjoy our beautiful valley and experience our annual Church Bazaar with lots of fun for the whole family.

Allesverloren Art & Shiraz Weekend

Allesverloren Shiraz & Shanks Weekend
27 - 28 SEPTEMBER 2014

Allesverloren will be offering slow-roasted lamb shanks paired with Shiraz during this weekend on the farm. There will also be several handmade goods stalls and traditional Troebadoer musicians to be enjoyed.
Owner and Winemaker Danie Malan will make available for sale a limited number of older vintages of Allesverloren Shiraz sourced from his personal collection. The newly released Trés Vermelhos and the award-winning Muscadel will also be on sale.
Tickets are limited and booking is essential.
A serving of slow-cooked lamb shank and a glass of Shiraz will cost R165, while kids can enjoy a hamburger and chips for R50. The Estate and Wine Shop will be open from 11:00 to 15:00 on both days.
