07-09 May 2021 was indeed a great weekend for Riebeek Valley and its Tourism business community. The First Friday event is only getting bigger and better; now having incorporated Arts Town Riebeek Valley, offers a full weekend programme to keep visitors entertained and occupied for the entire weekend. We can all agree that the first weekends of each month in Riebeek Valley will never be the same again! This slideshow features a few of the events that took place this past weekend, Olive Harvest Celebration. On Friday we saw our very own Fanie Velskoen and multi talented Donker Jonker put up a great live performance at Jolly Olives, great festive vibe in Short Street with Klaus Piprek launching “Revive” sculptures with prizes up for grabs (for more information please contact Klaus on firstname.lastname@example.org) , to the Olive Harvest Market on the square tennis court (thanks to Helana Brand of Malan & Co, Evelyn with Bayleaf & Thyme and Zani Brits with Lewis & Madge Leather for organi
zing) , Riebeek valley Wine Co wine & Het Vlock wine and olive pairing, Olive Boutique olive and olive oils pairing, Kloovenburg Wines with Kringe Inni Bossie, Sander Mahieu’s Rooted Solo Exhibition at Gallery 7 on Plein, “Look Me In My Eye” group exhibition at RK Contemporary ,to Poetry Jam Sessions at the Royal Arts Town Amphitheatre
and much more!
If you missed this one, don’t worry! Look out for the next jam-packed First Fridays Weekend Programme for June 2021!
