Meerhof Wine Estate

Since 1751, the very name conjures images of endless rows of ripe vines being caressed by the Riebeek Valley.

Located upon the original route taken all those years ago by Pieter van Meerhof, who joined the Cape Companje and named Kasteelberg after pitching camp on the 4th of February 1661, on the spot where Meerhof Private Celler today makes world quality wines. Here you can enjoy a lovely meal with a beautiful view or simply just indulge in tasting a variety of our wines.

Our heritage plays a big part in our winery. We are passionate about delivering the best wines, harvest after harvest.

Come experience our extensive wine range for yourself.
